The policymaking cohort of the UN, the General Assembly, convened in New York last month to discuss the ongoing effects of the economic, environmental, and geopolitical crises that the world is currently enduring. While the spotlight was on the war in Ukraine, leaders from developing nations addressed the dual impact of climate change and commodity inflation on the affordability and accessibility of food.
