BOSTON, MA, January 19, 2021--Longfellow Investment Management Co., LLC (LIM) announced the promotion of Corinne Larson, CTP, and Anuja Batra to Managing Principals. Ms. Larson and Ms. Batra join the firm’s executive management team along with existing managing principals Barbara McKenna, CFA, and John Villela, CFA.
“The managing principal title recognizes their achievement as highly effective and efficient managers and leaders within the firm,” said Barbara McKenna, President and CEO of LIM. “As principals and members of the Board of Managers, Corinne and Anuja have been integral to the management of the firm, and this title reflects the responsibilities they hold.”
Ms. Larson joined the firm in 2013 and became a principal in 2015. As the director of marketing and client service, she leads the firm’s distribution efforts and is responsible for managing new and existing client activity and consultant relationships.
“Corinne has been a key part of our firm’s growth, and we are pleased to recognize her achievements,” Ms. McKenna said.
Previously, Corinne was a vice president and senior relationship manager at State Street Global Advisors where she was responsible for institutional clients across asset classes. She holds the designation of Certified Treasury Professional through the Association for Financial Professionals and has more than 10 years of experience in corporate treasury management. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University and her Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
Ms. Batra joined LIM in 2015 and became a principal in 2018. She leads the firm’s finance department and serves as the HR administrator.
“Anuja has helped grow our financial operations and continues to implement HR practices that foster our corporate culture. We look forward to her continued contributions to the firm in this position,” said Ms. McKenna.
Most recently, Anuja served as a project manager for Endowment Solutions, LLC. She earned her Master of Business Administration from Babson College and a Bachelor of Commerce from Rajasthan University.
“As managers, they are highly successful at operating independently and developing those around them. As such, they have become key contributors to elevating LIM and all of the employees, and we value their leadership as LIM continues to grow and evolve,” said Ms. McKenna.
