BOSTON, MA – December 9, 2024: Longfellow Investment Management Co., LLC (LIM) has been recognized in the 2024 Best Places to Work in Money Management awards announced by Pensions & Investments.

The 13th annual survey and recognition program is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the best employers in the money management industry.

In 2005, Barbara purchased an ownership stake in LIM when the firm had $700 million in assets under management and less than 10 employees. LIM now has 56 employees and almost $20 billion in AUM (as of November 30, 2024). Barbara says the firm has worked hard to preserve a collaborative culture that values the perspectives of all employees and promotes personal and professional growth.

Pensions & Investments partnered with Workforce Research Group, a research firm specializing in identifying great places to work, to conduct a two-part survey process of employers and their employees. The first part evaluated each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part included an employee survey to measure employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 80% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies.
