LIM Announces New Principals and Co-Heads of Fixed Income
Boston, MA, April 8, 2025: Longfellow Investment Management Co., LLC (LIM), a $21.5bn investment management firm, announced the addition of two new principals to the firm and the elevation of two principals to co-heads of fixed income as of April 1, 2025.
The new principals are Marcos Duque, CFA, Securitized Analyst and Trader, and Maxwell Urda, CFA, Research Analyst.
“Marcos and Max have made substantial contributions to the firm and demonstrated the qualities that we value,” said Barbara J. McKenna, President and CEO. “We appreciate their efforts and welcome them to the firm’s ownership. The continued expansion of ownership demonstrates the overall strength of the organization.”
Mr. Duque joined the firm in 2022 as a member of the investment team as a securitized analyst and trader focused primarily on commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). With more than 25 years of investment industry experience, Marcos quickly became a valuable addition to the investment team with his knowledge and analysis of the CMBS sector.
Mr. Urda joined the firm in 2021, serves as a research analyst and helps lead LIM’s sustainable investment research and firm sustainability efforts. With his accomplishment-focused mindset and commitment to our investment process, he has proven to be an effective member of the investment team.
As part of its ongoing succession plan, David Stuehr, CFA and David Horsfall, CFA were named co-heads of fixed income. Mr. Stuehr joined LIM in 2009 and leads the firm’s credit research team and serves on the portfolio management team for the absolute return strategies. Mr. Horsfall joined the firm in 2022 and serves as a member of the portfolio management team and the strategy group primarily focused on broad market and longer duration fixed income strategies.
