BOSTON, MA, May 16, 2024 – Barbara McKenna, Managing Principal and Portfolio Manager at Longfellow Investment Management participated in the Modeling the Way panel at the Babson Leadership Program for Women & Allies (LPWA).

Barbara participated in an intro session with all panelists and then hosted a breakout session, “From Individual Contributor to Senior Leadership Roles.” In the session, Barbara shared her insights on individuals moving into senior leadership roles. She discussed ways to actively prepare, as well as what to consider when taking on leadership roles. Her advice was to ask yourself questions and ask questions to those around you. Doing so will ensure that you are aligned with what you want in your career, that you understand the responsibilities of a leader, and it will help you learn key qualities of successful leaders and teams.
