Advisory Board
LIM’s Advisory Board, established in 2012, provides guidance, expertise, and advice on the overall management and strategic direction of the firm.
Ms. Metcalf, an impact investor, has deep experience using innovative investment capital approaches in the public and private sectors to drive better outcomes for low-income and vulnerable populations.
After spending 18 years in the fixed income market at Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, and Credit Suisse, Lara became managing director of the Draper Richards Kaplan Foundation in 2022. She plays a lead role in sourcing new investments and working with the leadership of those organizations as an operating partner and board member as they grow to build capacity. In addition, she serves as an advisor and investment committee member for The Social Entrepreneurs’ Fund, the MIT Solve Innovation Futures Fund, and Zeal Capital Partners.
Lara holds a Master of Business Administration from the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Information Systems from Boston College.
Ms. Obi is the president and CEO of the Black Economic Council of Massachusetts (BECMA), whose mission is to advance the economic well-being of Black businesses, organizations, and residents in Massachusetts through advocacy, business, and leadership development strategic partnerships. She joined BECMA in 2020 as the vice president of member experience and engagement. Previously, she spent 12 years at Fidelity Investments, leaving the firm in 2018 as the vice president of customer strategy and engagement.
Nicole has also been the CEO of her own strategic consulting firm, Enterprise Advisors, and co-founded two venture-backed startup firms. She serves on several nonprofit boards and committees, including GBH, the Environment League of Massachusetts, the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra’s Intensive Community program, Browning the Greenspace, and Women’s Foundation of Boston. In addition, she is a member of the Boston chapter of The Links, Inc.
Nicole earned a master’s degree in Financial Engineering from MIT’s Sloan School of Management, a master’s degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from MIT’s Department of Urban Studies Planning, and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance and Financial Management Services from Hampton University.
Ms. Rudden is an active investor, advisor, and board member, a member of Launchpad Venture Group, and a visiting fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Earlier in her career, Eileen spent 25 years as a general manager and CEO in the tech industry with Lotus, IBM, and Avaya. She also served as chief officer of college and career preparation for Chicago Public Schools, the nation’s third largest public-school system. Currently, she serves on the boards of startup AceUp as well as nonprofits KnowledgeWorks, Education Pioneers, New Tech Network, and the Massachusetts Business Alliance for Education.
Eileen received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from Brown University, where she previously served as a trustee and is now chair of the advisory committee on computing and information technology.
Mr. Stahl is a retired partner from Wellington Management Company. He most recently served as chief investment strategist, traveling the globe to meet with the world’s largest institutional investors and advising them on market-related trends, opportunities, and risks. Previously, he served in roles including head of risk management and portfolio manager.
Earlier in his career, Kent managed the corporate finance and pension investment functions at NCR Corporation and worked for several years at Salomon Brothers on Wall Street.
Since his retirement in 2018, Kent has served on boards for a number of organizations, including Dogwood Health Trust, Diebold Nixdorf, and The Ohio State University, where he now chairs the oversight group for the university’s investable assets and is a member of the Board of Trustees.
Kent received a Master of Business Administration in Finance and International Business from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ohio State’s Honors accounting program.
Ms. McKenna, who has over 30 years of experience, serves as a managing principal and oversees LIM’s investment process. She is a member of the portfolio management team and the strategy group primarily focused on broad market and longer duration fixed income strategies.
Prior to joining LIM in 2005, Barbara was a director and senior portfolio manager at State Street Research (SSR). As director of corporate bond strategy, she was responsible for the development and implementation of corporate bond strategy across all fixed income mandates. Prior to joining SSR, she was a director and portfolio manager at Standish, Ayer & Wood. She has also held portfolio management and investment banking positions at BayBank and Massachusetts Capital Resource Company, a private capital firm.
Barbara earned a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston. In addition, she is an independent trustee for American Beacon Funds and an investment committee advisor for the U.S. Tennis Association (USTA). She is a former member of the N.E. Financial Services CEO Roundtable and the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s External Diversity Advisory Council.
Mr. Stuehr, who brings over 30 years of investment experience, is a portfolio manager and senior analyst at LIM. He leads the firm’s credit research team and serves on the portfolio management team for the absolute return strategies.
Prior to joining LIM in 2009, Dave was a hedge fund portfolio manager and analyst at Hanover Strategic Management. Previously, as a portfolio manager at Seneca Capital Management, he was responsible for the firm’s high yield investment portfolios and served as the lead manager on the Pacific View Fund, a corporate bond-oriented hedge fund.
Dave also has significant experience in managing fixed income portfolios for an array of clients, including high net worth individuals and insurance companies. Prior to joining Seneca, he was a partner with Standish, Ayer & Wood. During his 12 years at the firm, he served as a portfolio manager and director of corporate bond research and led a 10-member analyst team.
Dave earned a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College along with a Master of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bowling Green University. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
Mr. Noyes serves as a senior advisor and portfolio manager, working closely with LIM’s high net worth clients. He also is a member of the firm’s management team.
Prior to joining LIM in 2009, George worked at Hanover Strategic Management. He previously served as senior vice president and portfolio manager at Standish Mellon Asset Management. At Standish, he co-managed the Core Plus bond strategy, served as liaison to fixed income clients, and managed the stock and bond assets and asset allocation of several family and corporate mandates.
Earlier in his career, George was vice chairman of Standish, Ayer & Wood, where he was a partner and chaired the executive committee. He also served on the Board of Governors of the CFA Institute (where he was on the executive and planning committees), was a trustee emeritus of the CFA Institute Research Foundation and co-founded the Bond Analysts Society of Boston.
George earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Vermont and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College. He serves on the investment committee of trustees of donations of the Episcopal Church and is a trustee. In addition, he is a CFA charterholder, a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston, and a Certified Financial Planner®.
Mr. Dokas serves as a co-director of equities and portfolio manager for LIM’s equity strategies.
Prior to joining LIM in 2020, Paul was a senior portfolio manager and managing director at Cadence Capital Management. His additional experience includes director, investments, at Hirtle Callaghan; senior vice president at Delaware Investments; and various positions at Bell Atlantic. At Hirtle Callaghan, he was responsible for the development of asset allocation models and capital allocation across funds.
Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts from Loyola College and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Philadelphia.
Mr. Ginsberg serves as a co-director of equities and portfolio manager for LIM’s equity strategies.
Prior to joining LIM in 2020, Rob was a senior portfolio manager and managing director at Cadence Capital Management. He previously held senior analyst and portfolio manager positions at Invesco and Putnam Investments, respectively. At Putnam, he also served as a managing director. He started his investment career at Delaware Investments, where he worked as an equity analyst before being promoted to portfolio manager.
Rob earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Master of Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, The Wharton School. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
Mr. Horsfall serves as a member of the portfolio management team and the strategy group primarily focused on broad market and longer duration fixed income strategies.
Prior to joining LIM in 2022, David managed a corporate bond hedge fund at Monashee Investment Management. Previously, he was the deputy chief investment officer at Standish Mellon and held portfolio manager roles for unconstrained, long duration, and core plus strategies. He also was an adjunct professor of capital markets and finance at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from St. Lawrence University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society Boston.
Ms. Gemmett leads the securitized team and focuses on residential mortgage-backed securities at LIM.
Karen came to LIM in 2022 with over 20 years of investment experience. Previously, as managing director, head of mortgage-backed securities, and portfolio manager for Amherst Capital, she led a six-person investment team in management of mortgage-related securities portfolios. She was also a structured finance and mortgage strategist for Standish, where she was part of a team with over $60 billion in actively managed fixed income assets.
Karen earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with a focus on Statistics and a minor in Business Administration, from Pennsylvania State University. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Boston.
Mr. Nelson serves as a member of the portfolio management team and the strategy group with a primary focus on taxable fixed income strategies. He also leads municipal bond analysis and trading at LIM.
Ryan brings over 10 years of municipal bond market experience in research, trading, and marketing. Prior to joining LIM in 2016, he was a senior municipal bond analyst for Columbia Threadneedle Investments, where he focused on security selection and credit surveillance. Previously, he gained trading, analysis, and marketing experience at Eaton Vance.
Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Franklin & Marshall College. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society Boston, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts, and the Boston Municipal Analyst Forum.
Ms. Batra serves as LIM’s finance and HR officer, maintaining the firm’s finances and coordinating HR functions.
Anuja came to LIM in 2015 with over 15 years of experience. Previously, she served as a project manager for Endowment Solutions, in accounting at Engineering Principles, and in accounting and HR roles at the National Patient Safety Foundation and Shrier Works.
Anuja earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Rajasthan University and a Master of Business Administration from Babson College.
Ms. Larson serves as LIM’s chief marketing officer and leads our marketing, consultant relations, and client service team.
Prior to joining LIM in 2013, Corinne had over 25 years of professional experience, including over 10 years in corporate treasury management. Most recently, she was a vice president and senior relationship manager at State Street Global Advisors, where she was responsible for institutional clients across asset classes. Previous roles include associate director at Bear, Stearns & Co., vice president at MBIA Asset Management, and assistant director at the Government Finance Officers Association.
Corinne earned a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in English from Indiana University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame. In addition, she holds the designation of Certified Treasury Professional through the Association for Financial Professionals.
Mr. Chisholm serves as director of relationship management and is responsible for developing and maintaining consultant and client relationships.
Prior to joining LIM in 2021, Kevin gained over 15 years of industry experience. Most recently, he was director, relationship manager at Manulife Investment Management, where he was responsible for cultivating relationships with institutional clients and consultants. He also held the position of director of client services at Manulife, where he managed client onboarding. Prior to Manulife, he held other positions in the investment industry.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Arts from the College of the Holy Cross. He is a CFA charterholder as well as a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Boston.
Mr. Papadopoulos serves as director of investment technology, overseeing the technology applications of the firm.
Prior to joining LIM in 2017, Kevin served as a senior application engineer at GMO. His responsibilities included supporting trading applications, improving system functionality, and coordinating with third-party vendors. Previously, he was an application manager at State Street Global Advisors, supporting the operational needs of the fixed income and cash trading desk. He was also involved in multiple initiatives to assure quality, improve efficiency, and achieve automation across various workflows.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a dual focus in Management and MIS from Northeastern University and a Master of Business Administration from Boston College. He received a LEAN Facilitator certification from MoreSteam University and a LEAN Master Recognition from State Street. In addition, he earned the Cybersecurity: Managing Risk in the Information Age certificate from Harvard’s Office of the Vice Provost for Advances in Learning and is a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Ms. Sweeney serves as the director of operations and infrastructure and is responsible for providing oversight of LIM’s operational needs.
Meagen has over 25 years of experience in operational risk management, trading compliance, performance management, IT and strategic planning, derivatives regulation, settlements, and global trading. Prior to joining LIM in 2022, she worked as the vice president, principal, global trading infrastructure and risk, at Wellington Management. There, she was responsible for overseeing and supporting all non-execution aspects within the global trading department. She previously was an operations manager at Standish, Ayer & Wood.
Meagen earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bryant College.
Ms. Tremblay serves as the chief compliance officer and general counsel for LIM and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s legal and compliance program.
Nicole had 25 years of compliance and legal experience upon joining LIM in 2021. Most recently, she was a senior vice president and chief compliance officer at Weston Financial Group and The Washington Trust Company. There, she was responsible for overseeing all legal, compliance, and risk operations for the wealth management division. In addition, she was the president and chief compliance officer of the affiliated broker/dealer and the president and chief compliance officer of the affiliated registered investment company until it was sunset in 2017. Earlier in her career, she held compliance and legal positions at GoldK, Allmerica Financial, and Sun Life Financial.
Nicole earned a Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies and French with a concentration in Criminal Justice from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Suffolk University Law School. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the State of New York, and before the U.S. Supreme Court. She is a member of the American Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, Massachusetts Bar Association, and New York Bar Association.
