BOSTON, MA, July 21, 2023 — In this issue of our Event-Driven Update, we discuss current supply and demand dynamics impacting the front and back-end activity in the SPAC and M&A space. In June, the strategy captured returns from several closed merger deals, which were added at opportunistic levels in May given recent volatility. In the second quarter, LIM initiated positions in 13 new or previously announced mergers during the quarter; 14 merger deals closed successfully, with six closing during June.
