Global M&A activity increased 19% year over year in 2024 and has been primarily North America and Europe focused. Collectively, these geographic segments have accounted for 75% of total deal volume year to date. SPAC IPO issuance so far has surpassed 2023 with 34 SPAC IPOs raising $5.8bn.
