BOSTON, MA, April 22, 2025 – Seth Roman, CFA, Principal and Portfolio Manager at LIM will speak at the 39^thAnnual Conference for the New England Association for Financial Professionals (NE AFP) in May. He will lead a session titled, “Stick to Your Knitting: A Guide to Investing in Uncertain Times.”

NE AFP is a nonprofit organization established for individuals in the field of treasury management located in the six New England states as a forum to exchange ideas, concepts, and techniques. The annual conference is designed to promote effective collaboration, knowledge exchange, and relationship building for its constituents. This year’s conference will be held at Mohegan Sun Convention Center in Connecticut on May 1-2, 2025.

Seth’s session, on May 1, will review the current economic environment, Fed stance, and the fixed income market. He will discuss how to build and manage an investment portfolio, establish investment goals and objectives, evaluate investment instruments, and review and improve investment processes. The discussion will show that long-term investment success is a function of independent thinking, emotional stability, and a keen understanding of human and institutional behavior.
